Jeri is a director and producer in Chicago. She is an ensemble member of Irish Theatre of Chicago and has served as the Literary Manager and Associate Artistic Director and directed their mainstage production “In a Little World of Our Own” (Midwest Premiere), and several Three Pint Series staged reading presentations. Other local directing credits include projects with Chicago Dramatists, Three Cat Productions, Whiskey Rebellion, Artemisia, and Trellis. She directed “Much Ado About Nothing” for a Stone Soup Shakespeare tour in Southern Illinois. She spent almost ten years observing the methods of well-respected directors while stage managing for such companies as Lookingglass Theatre, Drury Lane, and Chicago Children’s Theatre. She currently fosters artists in Chicago as the Creative Director of literary, movement, and visual arts at a local nonprofit for survivors of sexual violence. As a writer and freelance editor, Jeri’s writing has been published in print and online.
